The Catholic ethic on the other hand stripped away these collectivist notions of using coercion towards Paradise on Earth, looking more towards their charity and love now, as ways by which to Hope and be Saved towards the Paradise in the after-life. For these reasons Rothbard pointed out that the subjective theory of value was so important in economics.
