I think Joaquim is quite right in the post below. No-fault divorce benefits men immensely more than women. Traditional marriage, like prostitution I am afraid to say, is an arrangement where in its bare essentials men enter with the money while women make available the sex.

No-fault divorce makes it easier for both husband and wife to look for a better deal. For men this means to get a better product for a lower price, which generally means a younger, less expensive woman. This is not difficult to find. For women it means to get a higher price for a used product. This is very difficult to find, indeed.
