Por cá, não fazem a malta a ler Tucídides na escola, para aprenderem do que são capazes as democracias desde que a ideia foi posta em prática.

Em vez disso, pintam-lhes umas lentes de cor de rosa para olhar para a santinha da democracia, e contam-lhes umas histórias da carochinha sobre o pacifismo da santinha.

Às vezes ainda há uns estremeções de dissonância cognitiva, mas a coisa com mais um bocado de propaganda, uns filmes e uns vídeos, lá vai indo. E, claro, apontando discretamente que os "dissidentes" não batem bem da bola e estão a ver coisas que não existem.
