Music City

Of Nashville it was once said that "if it is not known for music, it will not be known for anything". It became known for music. Since 2005 the city officially calls itself Music City.

The city prides itself of its restaurants and bars with live music, its music shops, recording studios and music museums. A visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a must. The Nashville recordings of Elvis Presley, Jim Reeves, the Everly Brothers, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Roger Miller, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Kenny Rogers, Crystal Gayle, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Neil Young, Garth Brooks, among many others, crossed frontiers and are now part of the World's pop culture.
