In a country that is admirable in many respects, let me state explicitly that the most disgusting characteristic of your culture, and the one I alluded to in my previous post, is that very strong tendency of yours to belittle other people - your own people, I mean, because usually you do not do it to foreigners.

As long as you retain this cultural trait you will never be a free people in the sense most of you probably would like to be - the anglo-saxonic sense. Rather, you are condemned to be a people of súbditos or, at best, administrados. For, if you do not respect and trust each other, rather, if you actually belittle each other, sooner or later all of you will agree on one single necessity: that you must find one of those rare man among you - a man with such high human qualities - whom you see as being unquestionably above all of you; and that is the man you must put in charge to take care of you.
