Judging from his record, Pinto da Costa is an immensely successful soccer manager. In less than two decades, he transformed a scarcely known, town soccer team into one of the world's best. He is by now the soccer-team President with the most impressive curriculum in his country and one of the most impressive in the whole world.
Sooner or later this man was due to pay a price for his success in this mostly Catholic country.
When Processo Apito Dourado became public, I followed closely for several months the newspapers in search for any solid piece of evidence that any serious criminal offence had been commited by Pinto da Costa. I found none.
To this day and for a long time now, I do not read any more that kind of garbage.
