Anglican Church

To allow priests to marry is not good for a religion because they cannot consecrate fully to the service of God. But to allow gay priests to marry might be a fatal blow to a religion because it can be taken as a sign that God is indifferent to reproduction.
This is how (*) the anglo-saxonic concept of individual freedom is destroying institutions in Britain, such as the Anglican Church. The main beneficiary seems to be the Catholic Church, today the main religious confession in Britain after the arrival of Polish immigrants over the last few years. With its unrivaled orthodoxy the Catholic Church is catering to discontents (see the case of Tony Blair).
